The Dominican Republic
Our time in the Dominican Republic was short, but oh, how we wish it could have been longer! After cruising up from St Martin, our first port of call was Samana. We arrived in the wee hours of the morning, which unfortunately meant we couldn't dock at the marina we had been eagerly anticipating after spending almost a year at anchor.

Picture this: You find yourself on a remote island in the heart of the South Atlantic. Now, most people wouldn't stumble upon this hidden gem unless they purposely chose to fly there for a dreamy vacation or sailed across the ocean, following the trade winds and possibly heading towards Brazil. But our adventure led us here on our epic journey to the Caribbean, with Grenada as our final destination.
